"In 663 Joseph was one of the founders of the 1st Baptist Church in
Massachusetts, the fourth Baptist Church in America, at Swansea. He had
moved from Rehoboth to Swansea about 1661, soon after his father's deat
His will is dated 03 May 1676. It mentioned his wife and sons Joseph,
Benjamin, and John, daus, and noted that "my wife is with child". From Raymond
