She married William CARPENTER (born in England 1605) approximately 1628. They had seven children, of which three were born in England: John b. 1628; William b.1631-32; and Joseph b.1633. In 1638, Abigail, along with her husband, father-in-law, four children and a servant, arrived in America at Weymouth, Mass, via BEVIS. After their arrival Abigail and William had four more children: Hannah b. 1640; twins Abiah andAbigail b. 1643; and Samuel, b.1644. NOTE: Ship passenger documents show Abigail and William with four children arriving from England in 1638, as well as a 14 year old servant named Thomas Banshott. (That would make 8 children instead of seven...) William CARPENTER was the son of William of Wherwell (HANTS) England. He died 07 February 1659 in Rehoboth Mass.
