Your card received also Lottie's letter. I was so glad to get both, especially the letter, as it had more news. I also had a letter from Buddy on Thursday. I feel well-and don't think I am so nervous, can control myself better any way. Butlast night lay awake nearly all night-just dozed-but hope I am better, am trying to be. Almost feel if I can't control my feelings any better, I'll stay away until I do. I didn't talk to you about the meat-but, maybe you had better not waitfor me, I guess Ike will salt or sugar cure it for you, if you haven't time. You will find the recipe in the shelf in the kitchen. Propably in little brown book of written recipes, get about six or seven, they may get higher later. They oftendo. What did you get of McCambridge? but don't think of paying six cents for the hinds. I wish you would get Loulie to put some poison in cellar, also in garret before you get the meat, put a little butter onbread, then sprinkle the poisonand put it in box on lid or something and set on floor. We are having a most dreadful blizzard, believe we will have a right deep snow, as it has snowed all day. Billy is still busy and seems so tired and worn out and stays out late with theboys. Gus don't hear him come to bed often. He comes over to make us a visit about nine and often gets a lunch to eat about midnight, as he gets hungry. Cousin Liz is much worse. Sis Gus went to inquire after her yesterday and found her realsick. I am going up to see Cousin Mag next week. Weather got too bad this week.

Sis Gus thinks I must stay with her a long time, but will help her with her sewing and then I'll come. Making Sweetie some white dresses. Wish Loulie would try and get the pattern I wrote for soon. The spoons have come and been engraved, theyare certainly pretty. Billy also ordered the knives and forks, go right nicely with spoons.

Would like to borrow ten dollars if you will lend it to me, or shall I write and ask Mike Hutchens for what she owes me. I went up there the afternoon before I came away thinking if I told her I was coming she would pay me, but she didn't say aword, it worried me.

Sis Gus wishes you could come down and see Sweetie, if course, she is the only one she would want you to see, but she is a darling and is walking a few steps now.
